Wall Mural

I need some advice on painting a child's wall mural... have never done this before... where do I start?

My sister has asked my husband and I to paint a princess-themed wall mural in her 1-year old daughter's room. They have provided a 3x5 picture of what they want and asked for it to be duplicated on the wall. It is very detailed, with a castle and moat and the whole shebang.

We have never done anything like this before.... Where do we start? How do we "transfer" a scene from a 3x5 picture onto the wall? Do we grid out the wall in pencil and draw it in small sections? Is there a special type of paint that we should use? What types of paints are best?

I just don't even know where to start.......... and I was hoping that someone on here has done this before and can help me out!

Take it to a copy shop adn get it made into a transparency. Then find a projector adn borrow it form a school or sunday school or something... It will project the image onto teh wall and then you can make it the size you want it and draw the main lines on the wall with a pencil. Then turn the projector off and you shoudl have done a huge pencil outline of the picture on the wall. Then paint it. use house paint. Like the kind you woudl paint the room a solid color in. Get small cans if you need lots of colors.
