How do you install a wall-hung toilet (basically)?

I am interested in taking a "rest-stop" toilet, like the shorter Kohler Kingston, and putting a regular toilet seat and lid (nice ones) on it, so I don't have the toilet base on the floor, thus making my tiny bathroom look bigger and making it easier to clean. I can't afford the designer versions (some over $1,000).
BUT how do you convert from a floor toilet drain to a wall hook-up, and where the heck does the water come into this thing? Do you need a metal supporter behind the wall or only 2X6's? I don't want it to ever sag.
It only uses 1.6 gallons per flush, pretty good. It seems the price isn't so bad, like around $175, but are there parts missing, like flanges and valves, that make this much more costly?
I've always wanted this, because I think the floor around toilets gets dirty.
Plenty of parts are missing. Look at the link again, that picture is all you're going to get, if you get that much. I'm not sure if the brass thing at the back of it is included or not. You will also need the options listed. When you get the options that is where the water will hook up. You will have to tear out the drywall in your bathroom(behind the toilet) reroute the water supply, rip up and rebuild some of the floor . That is to move your toilet drain into the wall. It is hard to tell from the picture if the new plumbing will fit in a 2x4 wall, so you may have to rebuild the entire wall. That's a lot of work, but it does sound like a fun thing to do...just to say you did it. I hope you have a two bathroom house as this will NOT be a one day job.
Metal Wall Hangings Combining Beauty With Function
If you are someone who lives in one of the smaller houses or apartments in the city, then you should know one this cardinal rule: Every space has to be given a purpose. Nearly everything should double into something.
Here is a classic example. In a small abode, a bed frame cannot just be something that holds the bed up. To maximize space, some brilliant furniture makers have found the means to convert the space under the bed into drawers where you can keep your shoes, toys or even beddings away while you are not using them. In some homes, you may also find unassuming benches that have hidden storage spaces for magazines and some books.
Technically, that means that you cannot really allot much space on mere decorations and other aesthetic “stuff”. However, despite the need for practicality, that does not mean that you have to keep your house bare and boring. If you really do not have much wall space for large paintings or decorative pieces you can always go for decors that also serve a function.
To give you an idea, here are some metal wall hangings that are both beautiful and functional.
1. Wrought Iron Wall Clocks These beautiful items can give you a lot of reasons why you should start ditching your old wall clocks. For one, since these time pieces are made of metal, they are much more durable that those that are made of plastic or wood. In fact, when properly maintained or given enough care, these items can last years or even decades without even giving you any major problems. Oh, and do not be scared of the prices. While it is true that some of these pieces are much more expensive compared to their other counterparts, their good quality and their classic beauty will eventually pay for themselves.
2. Wrought Iron Wine Racks If you know where to look, you can find iron wall art that can also double as a wine rack. Since they are made to be displayed on walls they can only carry 3 to 6 pieces of wine bottles at a time. In terms of design, the patterns that they bear are mostly limited to leaves and vines to pay homage to the grapes from where the wines were made.
3. Metal Wall Hooks These are not the ghastly hooks that you get from the hardware stores and screw casually on your walls. These metal wall hooks are forged from wrought iron and they bear the most interesting designs like the elegant fleur – de – lis, geometric shapes and delicate curve patterns. They are perfect to be put at the back of your doors to hold your keys. If you want you can hang them inside the cabinet to hold your belts or, you can have them be mounted along hallways and use them as a coat hanger for your guests. If that is not enough, you can even place them in your kitchen to hang your pots, pans and other cooking utensils.
Those are a few of the items that combine beauty and function. Hang on as we give you more of these in the following features.
