wall decals owl
Will vinyl wall decals stick on textured walls?
If not, is there any alternative? I live in an apartment so my options are limited. The wall decals fairly large too...

Yes and no. They may stick if they are large enough, and have more surface area, but they will not lay flat and will have a bumpy looking texture. Some decals will look better than others because of the pattern as well. A large print will hide the texture difference better than smaller ones. Color will also be a factor. Also the size of the texture will factor in. A very slight wider rough surface will hold better than a high tight texture pattern. You can help a decal to stick by using a tacky spray that comes in a can sold at hobby stores. After removal cleaning the area with a mild soap will remove any left over stickiness. Make sure the wall surface can handle that before applying.
