Hello! I just saw this picture here http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_QgkD352hI4U/S7zeX3maSxI/AAAAAAAABAo/Ic_Wbb1_0GE/s1600/StringArt.JPG and I was stunned^^ I'd really love to make something like this myself for my wall!
But how do you do this? I've never seen anything like this before, so I have NO idea how to do this at all^^ The online videos on how to do string art I saw were more to do "mandalas" on little wooden or something plates, but nothing like this beautiful heart design!
So a) how do you put something like that on your wall?
b) how do you get this heart-design done?^^
I'd be really grateful if you could help me with this and give me some tips
Sorry, this isn't really sculpturing :/ I chose the wrong category
you need a needle for a pinboard and a pencil and a fibre. Then you knot the wire on the one end at the pencil, and at the other end on the needle for the Pinboard and then you may draw a circle round of the Pinboardneedle. Then you can draw on the circle with the help of the needle and the pencil some signs on the circle and with a spacer you may draw the straight lines on the wall, from one with the pencil and the knotted pinboardneedle bounced point to the other.
It seems not very easy, but it is of course more than easy!
The Heart-Design is going from one Point from the circle, through the Middle of the circle to another Point in the circle. you may tax the Points, before you run it, but its also an Easy doing thing, because you have to have a good visual judgement to get the right proportions and its only a little bit of Maths because, you also may do it only with half and quartercircles!
Sorry, I can't explain it very good in english. English instructions are for me easier to understand, but to give instructions in english is not as easy for me to give, because I have not much practice in practical use of my english. So I am sorry, I should explain it to you in german if you want that. I know, you're German and here are, as sorry I am, my own limits in foreign languages.
