How does one save an image as a non-square shape (i.e. a person outline) in Paint? Or can you?
i want text on word to be able to hug around the outlines of a scanned image rather than around a massive annoying square
You can't do a non-square image file. But you can do a non-square shape.
In Word, put your photo in and set the wrapping to Through (whichever one where it doesn't wrap around at all and just overlaps the photo).
Then, draw a white polygon on top of it and set its wrap how you want it. Then just send the white polygon behind the photo.
