How do I pick bathroom colors?
My bathroom is lame and pieced together. I want to get some color in there with things that match- rugs, shower curtain, window treatment, paint and eventually tile floor. Right now it's white floor, turqoise shower curtain, no rugs (cuz the boys ruined the yellow rugs right away), white blinds with white valance with butterflies, white walls and colorful fish decals.
I don't know where to start. Do I get inspired by something and pull everything else around it?
Totally...pick something an run with it. Not to mention it is a bathroom, have some FUN! I mean it not like a kitchen where if you decided to do a jungle theme people would think you were crazy...lol. One of my friends (who is a fellow interior designer) has a monkey bathroom. Sounds a bit odd, but it might be one of the cutest things i have ever seen. Use your imagination, its a small room, it is not going to break the budget if you do something super different and want/need to change it up in a year or two. HAVE FUN IN THE BATHROOM, its our chance to let it all out if you want:)
